Hello, I am Jamie

I'm Jamie, a creative soul with a practical edge, constantly evolving and crafting my own narrative through design. My passion lies in the art of visual communication, with the ultimate goal of bringing joy to people through design.

My journey into the world of art and design began with a childhood passion. This led me to pursue a college education in Visual Communication Design. In May 2022, I proudly graduated from West Liberty University with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication Design and a minor in Business Administration. During my time there, I not only honed my design skills but also embraced challenges outside the classroom. As a collegiate athlete, I competed in cross country and track, demonstrating my commitment to excellence in diverse domains.

In 2020, I delved into the world of UX through a class at West Liberty, which ignited a curiosity to explore and understand. UX opened doors to new realms of learning, expanding my horizons beyond what I'd ever imagined.

As I pursued my Master's degree in UX Design at the Maryland Institute College of Art, my motivation to continually learn and explore opportunities within the design field remained unwavering. I firmly believe that education and awareness are potent tools for making a lasting impact as a designer.

This transformative journey allowed me to evolve both personally and professionally while establishing meaningful connections within the design community. Now, with my studies at MICA completed in August 2023 and valuable experience as a Graphic Design Specialist at Williams Lea since 2022, I'm excited to take the lessons learned and experiences gained into the next phase of my creative odyssey.
